THE ATTORNEY BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE BOARD THE <br />NEED TO ADVISE RESIDENTS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY TO FILL OUT THEIR <br />FEDERAL INCOME TAX RETURN - FORM 1040 OR 1040A PROPERLY IN ORDER <br />FOR THE COUNTY TO RECEIVE ITS SHARE OF FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING. <br />RESIDENTS MUST STATE ON THE ABOVE FORM WHERE THEY ARE LIVING ON <br />DECEMBER 31ST, 1972, WHETHER IT IS THE CITY OF VERO BEACH, INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, OR ITS MUNICIPALITIES. EACH AREA WILL RECEIVE ITS <br />OWN FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING BASED ON THE NUMBER OF RESIDENTS IN EACH <br />LOCALITY ON DECEMBER 31ST, 1972. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED THE FOLLOWING AMENDMENT TO <br />THE UTILITIES FRANCHISE REQUIREMENTS.. <br />AMENDMENT TO UTILITIES FRANCHISE REQUIREMENTS <br />Paragraph 13 of the Utilities Franchise Requirements <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"13. Franchises will not be granted unless the <br />franchise applicant will in writing agree that <br />upon written notification the applicant will at <br />his expense deed to the county all water and <br />sewage facilities, easements and rights of way <br />within the franchise area except that the franchisee <br />will be reimbursed for those components of the <br />system which will become an intregal part of the <br />County Master Utilities Plan and which are.. so <br />designated by the County prior to the issuance of <br />the utilities franchise and permit. A formula for <br />reimbursement value will be determined by the <br />utilities department and the franchisee prior to <br />issuance of the permit." <br />1A4 <br />:c <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER BOGOSIAN, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION AND <br />AUTHORIZED THE FINANCE OFFICER TO PAY $249.11 TO THE TAX COLLECTOR. <br />-11- <br />�I <br />
