M <br />ORDINANCE 2003-010 <br />provided by state or federal law, a county commissioner <br />appointed as a representative of the Board of County <br />Commissioners to a commission or board shall be the Board's <br />non-voting liaison to such commission or board. <br />This ordinance shall supersede conflicting ordinances and resolutions, or parts <br />thereof, to the extent of such conflict. <br />Section 4. Severability <br />If any portion of this ordinance is held or declared by a court of competent <br />jurisdiction to be'unconstitutional, inoperative, or void, such holding shall not affect the <br />remaining portions of this ordinance, which shall remain in full force and effect. <br />Section 5. Codification v <br />It is the intention of the Board of County Commissioners that the provisions of this <br />ordinance shall become and be made a part of The Code of Indian River County, and that <br />the sections of this ordinance may be renumbered or relettered, and the word "ordinance' <br />may be changed to "section," "article;" or such other,appropriate word or phrase in order <br />to accomplish such intention. <br />Section 6, Effective Date <br />This ordinance shall take effect upon its filing with the Florida Department of State. <br />This ordinance was advertised in the Vero Beach Press Journal on the 3rd day <br />of January , 2003, for a public hearing on the 14`h day of January, 2003, at <br />which time the public hearing was continued to March 11, 2003, at which time the <br />ordinance was moved for adoption by Commissioner Lowther , and seconded by <br />Commissioner Neuberger , and adopted by the following vote: <br />Conflicting <br />Provisions <br />Section 3, <br />Kenneth <br />R. <br />This ordinance shall supersede conflicting ordinances and resolutions, or parts <br />thereof, to the extent of such conflict. <br />Section 4.
