ORDINANCE NO* 2001=003 <br />v. Lighting structures or strip lighting that follows the <br />form of the building, parts of the building, or building <br />elements is prohibited. <br />vi. Neon and similar tube and fiber optic lighting and <br />similar linear lighting systems, where the neon or <br />lighting tube or fiber is visible, is prohibited (this <br />restriction includes site signage). <br />vii. Backlit transparent or translucent architectural <br />elements, backlit architectural elements, as well as <br />illuminated or backlit awnings and roof mounted <br />elements are prohibited. This does not prohibit the use <br />of glass blocks. This does not prohibit the use of an <br />illuminated sign attached to a building. <br />viii. Facades that appear to be primarily awnings are <br />prohibited. An awning shall not run continuously for <br />more than thirty (30) percent of the length of any <br />single facade, Gaps between awning segments shall be <br />at least twenty-four (24) inches wide. Placement of <br />awning segments shall relate to building features (e.g. <br />doorways and windows), where possible. Awnings <br />shall not exceed tweniy-five (25) percent of the area <br />of any single facade. <br />x. Accessory structures, including sheds, out buildings, <br />dum ster enclosures, and screening structures, shall <br />match the style, finish, and color of the site's main <br />building.
