I <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR PRESENTED A NEW LIST OF REQUIREMENTS <br />TO OBTAIN -A BUILDING PERMIT IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />ATTORNEY BURCH RETURNED TO THE MEETING AT 10:40 <br />01CLOCK A.M. <br />THE BOARD DISCUSSED THIS LIST OF REQUIREMENTS AND <br />IT WAS DECIDED THAT FURTHER STUDY WAS NEEDED BEFORE THIS <br />PROCEDURE COULD -BE IMPLEMENTED. COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS <br />SUGGESTED SCHEDULING A MEETING WITH BOB .JENNINGS, HEALTH DEPARTMENT; <br />DONALD ADAMS, BUILDING DEPARTMENT; DEWEY WALKER, ZONING DEPARTMENT; <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR AND HIMSELF TO DISCUSS THIS LIST OF REQUIREMENTS <br />AND TO OBTAIN THEIR COMMENTS BEFORE ANY DECISION IS MADE, <br />THE BOARD AGREED THAT THIS SHOULD BE REFERRED BACK <br />TO THE ADMINISTRATOR TO SCHEDULE A MEETING SUGGESTED BY <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS FOR FURTHER STUDY. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT SUGGESTED.THAT IF AT THAT MEETING <br />WITH THE ABOVE MENTIONED DEPARTMENT HEADS THEY ARRIVE AT A <br />DECISION, THAT IT BE IMPLEMENTED AND IT NOT BE BROUGHT BACK <br />TO THE BOARD. <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR INFORMED THE BOARD THAT COURTHOUSE <br />PARKING AS SUGGESTED BY THE DOWNTOWN MERCHANTS ASSOCIATION HAS <br />BEEN IMPLEMENTED AND NOW NEEDS ENFORCEMENT. THE CUSTODIAN HAS <br />BEEN SUPERVISING THE PARKING BUT NEEDS AUTHORIZATION TO ENFORCE <br />` IT. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER BOGOSIAN, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AGREED TO REFER <br />THIS TO THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS ON HOW TO <br />4 <br />DEC. A1973 <br />ENFORCE THE COURTHOUSE PARKING. <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR REPORTED THAT HE HAS INVESTIGATED <br />THE CONSTANT COMPLAINTS OF DRAINAGE PROBLEMS IN THE EUCALYPTUS <br />SUBDIVISION AS REQUESTED BY THE BOARD. THERE IS AN EXISTING <br />10 FOOT EASEMENT ALONG THE BACK.PROPERTY LINE WITH MANY LARGE <br />TREES ALONG THIS EASEMENT MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR COUNTY <br />EQUIPMENT TO DO THE WORK THAT IS NECESSARY. THE ADMINISTRATOR <br />- 10 - <br />
