RESOLUTION NO. 74-4 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNTY OF INDIAN RIVER, <br />FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR COMPLIANCE WITH <br />CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS UNDER THE FLORIDA <br />REVENUE SHARING ACT FOR 1973. <br />WHEREAS, the County of Indian River, Florida, desires to <br />participate in and receive from the State of Florida at the earliest <br />possible time all funds which the County of Indian River is entitled <br />to receive under the Florida Revenue Sharing Act of 1973 as said Act, <br />may from time to time be amended; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to qualify for said revenue sharing funds <br />during the 1973 - 1974 fiscal year, Indian River County has previously <br />certified to the Florida Department of Revenue that it has complied with <br />all requirements for revenue sharing except the levy of at least three <br />mills on the dollar of ad valorem taxes and the imposition of an occupa- <br />tional license tax, <br />NOW,' THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of <br />County Commissioners of the County of Indian River, Florida, that <br />said Board will levy, when its tax roll has been approved, not less than <br />three (3) mills on the dollar of ad valorem taxes and that Indian River <br />County has passed a county occupational license tax and will continue <br />to collect the same. <br />Adopted at a regular meeting of the County Commission of <br />the County of Indian River, Florida, this 9th day of January, 1974. <br />Alma Lee Loy, Chairm <br />ff <br />Attest: <br />C erk <br />WE <br />JAN 91974aooK '9 PAGE198 <br />
