ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED THE <br />PLAT OF WOOD HAVEN MANOR SUBDIVISION AS PRESENTED BY BILL <br />STEWART, ATTORNEY. <br />GEORGE REMER APPEARED BEFORE THE BOARD REQUESTING <br />A SPECIAL EXCEPTION BUILDING PERMIT IN ORDER TO BUILD ON HIS <br />PROPERTY. MR. REMER INFORMED THE BOARD THAT HE PURCHASED HIS <br />PROPERTY FROM FRANK ZORC BY METES AND BOUNDS DESCRIPTION. <br />THIS LAND WAS SOLD TO MR. REMER, BUT WAS NOT SUBDIVIDED <br />IN ACCORDANCE WITH COUNTY SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS. MR. REMER <br />STATED THAT THIS PROPERTY WAS SOLD TO HIM WITH A 20 FOOT EASEMENT <br />IN FRONT OF HIS PROPERTY, WHICH WOULD SERVE AS A ROAD. <br />A MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED <br />BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, THAT A SPECIAL EXCEPTION BE GRANTED TO <br />GEORGE REMER BECAUSE OF HIS HARDSHIP. THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION <br />OF HIS PROPERTY IS: "THE NEI/4, LESS THE NORTH 3' THEREOF, <br />AND THE EAST 20' OF THE SE 1/4 OF THE EAST 10 ACRES OF TRACT <br />5, SECTION II, TOWNSHIP 33 SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST. <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS REQUESTED TIME FOR DISCUSSION. <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS STATED THAT MR. REMER WAS AT <br />THE COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING ON DECEMBER 5, 1973 AND AT THAT <br />TIME IT WAS RECOMMENDED THAT MR. REMER MEET WITH THE PEOPLE <br />INVOLVED TO WORK TOGETHER AND COME UP WITH A SOLUTION THAT THIS <br />BOARD COULD ACCEPT. HE STATED THAT THE BURDEN SHOULD BE ON <br />THE DEVELOPER TO COME UP WITH A SOLUTION. HE DID NOT THINK <br />EVERY EFFORT WAS MADE IN ORDER FOR THIS PIECE OF PROPERTY TO <br />COMPLY WITH REGULATIONS. <br />f CHAIRMAN LAY QUESTIONED IF _THE PROPERTY 'ADJOINIMG <br />MR. REMER'S PROPERTY TO THE NORTH ALSO SHOWS A 20 FOOT EASEMENT <br />AND WHO OWNS THIS PROPERTY? <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS STATED THAT IF THE EASEMENT <br />COULD BE ENDED AT THE BEGINNING OF MR.
