ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED THE <br />STATE WITNESS PAYROLL, FOR THE CIRCUIT COURT FALL TERM, IN <br />THE AMOUNT OF $148.22. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED <br />THE APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL PERMIT TO CARRY A FIREARM BY <br />FREDERICK L. HANSON. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS, COMMISSIONER BOGOSIAN VOTED IN <br />OPPOSITION, THE BOARD APPROVED THE APPLICATIONS FOR PERMITS <br />TO CARRY FIREARMS BY RAUL VILLAVERDE, MARIO DE LEON, CALIXTO <br />GARCIA, AND HUBERT DEMASMONTET. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED THE <br />APPLICATIONS FOR PERMITS TO CARRY FIREARMS BY CHRIST THEODORE <br />COSTOS AND GILBERT SWIGER. <br />L. S. THOMAS, COUNTY FINANCIAL COORDINATOR, INFORMED <br />THE BOARD THAT THE STATE AUDITOR HAS STATED THAT THE COUNTY'S <br />METHOD OF INVESTING FUNDS IS NOT BEING DONE ACCORDING TO THE <br />STATE LAW, THE COUNTY IS PRESENTLY COMBINING SUMS FROM VARIOUS <br />ACCOUNTS IN ORDER T0, HAVE MORE THAN $100,000.00 TO INVEST AND <br />ARE EARNING BETWEEN 9 - 9 1/2% INTEREST. IF LESS THAN $100,000.00 <br />IS INVESTED THE INTEREST EARNED WOULD BE ABOUT 5%, <br />ATTORNEY BURCH STATED THAT UNDER THE COUNTY'S HOME RULE <br />POWER AN ORDINANCE COULD BE PASSED AUTHORIZING THE PRESENT <br />METHOD OF INVESTING FUNDS, <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED ATTORNEY <br />BURCH TO PREPARE AN ORDINANCE REGARDING THE COUNTY'S METHOD OF <br />INVESTING FUNDS. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE OUT - <br />on <br />JAN 2 3 1974 8, OK 19 N4c[242 <br />
