BURCH, ATTORNEY TO <br />THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS; ELIZABETH FORLANI, DEPUTY <br />CLERK. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER AND STATED <br />THE REASON FOR THIS MEETING IS TO HEAR A REPORT FROM THE <br />COUNTY CONSULTING ENGINEERS, .JAMES BEINDORF AND WILLIAM SABIS <br />ON THEIR PROGRESS TO MODIFY THE COUNTY'S SEWER AND WATER <br />PROGRAM. <br />MR. SABIS REPORTED THAT IN ORDER FOR THE COUNTY TO <br />REMAIN ELIGIBLE FOR A FEDERAL GRANT FROM THE ENVIRONMENTAL <br />PROTECTION AGENCY, IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO SUBMIT A "201 <br />FACILITY PLAN" TO THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF POLLUTION CONTROL. <br />THE "201 FACILITY PLAN' IS THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS <br />BECOMING ELIGIBLE FOR A FEDERAL GRANT; THE SECOND STEP IS <br />ENGINEERING PLANS AND CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS; AND THE THIRD <br />STEP IS THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE PLANT. <br />MR, SABIS STATED THAT THIS IS A NEW REQUIREMENT <br />THAT HAS COME UP SINCE THE LAST REPORT, AND THAT 60% OF THE <br />MATERIAL FOR THE "201 FACILITY PLAN" HAS ALREADY BEEN COMPLETED. <br />COMMISSIONER BOGOSIAN ENTERED THE MEETING AT 11:25 <br />01CLOCK A.M. <br />THE CONSULTING ENGINEERS COULD NOT GIVE ANY COST <br />FIGURES OR TIME SCHEDULE TO THE BOARD AT THIS TIME. <br />R 1 7 soak -19 pa[404 <br />
