YOUNG APPEARED AND STATED THAT HE WAS ALSO IN <br />FAVOR OF THE COUNTY CONTINUING ON THIS PROJECT, <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE <br />COUNTY CONSULTING ENGINEERS TO PROCEED WITH THE APPLICATION <br />FORA "201 FACILITY PLAN" GRANT AND THAT THE ACTUAL PROCEEDING <br />WITH THIS PLAN BE DISCUSSED AT THE NEXT COUNTY COMMISSION <br />MEETING ON APRIL 10, 1974, <br />THE CHAIRMAN ASKED MR, SABIS IF HE COULD GET INFORMA- <br />TION BY THE 1OTH OF APRIL AS TO AN ESTIMATE OF COST AND A TIME <br />SCHEDULE, <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS REPORTED TO THE BOARD THE <br />OUTCOME OF HIS INVESTIGATION INTO FINDING ADDITIONAL OFFICE <br />SPACE FOR HOMER C. FLETCHER, TAX ASSESSOR, <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS STATED THAT AT THE NEW AGRICULTURAL <br />BUILDING ON STATE ROAD 60 THERE IS ROOM FOR THE COUNTY EXTENSION <br />DIRECTOR AT A COST TO THE COUNTY OF $425,00 PER MONT14 NOT IN- <br />CLUDING ELECTRIC, MR. FORREST MCCULLARS STATED HE WILL BE <br />READY TO MOVE HIS EQUIPMENT WHENEVER THE�COUNTY STATES. <br />THE OFFICES OCCUPIED BY THE CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT COURT <br />ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE SECOND FLOOR OF THE COURTHOUSE ANNEX <br />WILL BE MOVED TO THE OFFICES OCCUPIED BY THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT. <br />THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT WILL MOVE TO CITY HALL. <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS STATED HE HAS MET WITH THE CITY MANAGER <br />AND THERE IS SPACE AVAILABLE ON THE SECOND FLOOR WHICH THE CITY <br />WOULD LEASE TO THE COUNTY AT $4.50 PER SQUARE FOOT. THERE IS <br />APPROXIMATELY 2,500 SQUARE FEET AVAILABLE, THIS PRICE WOULD <br />INCLUDE JANITORIAL SERVICES AND ALL UTILITIES. <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS RECOMMENDED TAKING THE CITY'S <br />OFFER OF $4.50 PER SQUARE FOOT ON A SHORT TERM LEASE. <br />eoa� 1 PAGE 405 <br />
