<br />for a period of one year next preceeding the first publication of the attached copy of adver-
<br />tisement; and affiant further says that he has neither paid nor promised any person, firm or
<br />corporation any discount, rebate, commission or refund for the purpose of securing this adver-
<br />tisement for publication in the said newspaper.

<br />Sealed bids will be received by
<br />the Board of County Com-
<br />missionersoflndlan River County,
<br />Florida, thereinafter called the
<br />"Board") for the projects
<br />hereinafter set forth at and until
<br />9:30 a.m. the 10th day of April,
<br />1974, in the office of the County
<br />Administrator, 14th Avenue, Vero
<br />Beach, Florida, at which place and
<br />time or as soon thereafter as the
<br />Board can attend to the same, the
<br />said bids will be publicly opened
<br />and read. The Board will
<br />thereafter make the award of the
<br />contract, based upon the result of
<br />the tabulations, as covered by
<br />applicable laws and regulations.
<br />The following is the project:

<br />Specifications, bidforms, form
<br />of contract, instructions to bidders
<br />and all other bidding and contract
<br />data may be obtained from the
<br />office of John J. Schlitt Jr., AIA,
<br />Architect, 2110 5th Avenue, Vero
<br />Beach, Florida, on and after
<br />March 22, 1974.
<br />All bids must be submitted on
<br />forms prescribed by the Board and
<br />accompanied by one of the
<br />following: A certified check,
<br />cashier's check, or a bid bond. If a
<br />bid bond is submitted, it must be
<br />accompanied by a "Power of
<br />Attorney" for the representative of
<br />the Bonding Company.
<br />The certified check, cashier's
<br />check or bid bond shall be in the
<br />amount of 5 per centum of the base
<br />bid, conditioned That if awarded
<br />the contract, the bidder will within
<br />the time specified by the Board,
<br />enter Into a contract in accordance
<br />with the accepted bid, in form
<br />prescribed by the Board and give a
<br />Performance Bond satisfactory to
<br />the Attorney for the Board equal to
<br />100 per centum of the contract
<br />price.
<br />All Bidders are requested to call
<br />at the office of the Secretary of the
<br />Board for the return Certified
<br />check, Cashier's check or Bid
<br />Bond, which will be made
<br />available to Bidders in accordance
<br />with the instructions to Bidders in
<br />the Specifications.
<br />The Board reserves the right to
<br />waive informalities and to reject
<br />any and all bids.

<br />FROM MR. CARTER OF ASK -US ROOFING COMPANY WHO STATED THAT
<br />A BID WAS BEING HAND DELIVERED. THIS TELEPHONE CALL WAS
<br />RECEIVED BEFORE 9:30 O'CLOCK A.M.
<br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY
<br />COMMISSIONER MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY GRANTED TENTATIVE
<br />APPROVAL OF REBEL ACRES SUBDIVISION AS REQUESTED BY MARVIN
<br />CARTER, ENGINEER.
