ry FEB 19 1975 <br />t <br />JULIAN LOWENSTEIN, OWNER OF THIS PROPERTY, APPEARED FOR <br />THIS DISCUSSION AND MADE HIS PRESENTATION. <br />VAL BRENNAN, PLANNING DIRECTOR APPEARED AND STATED THAT <br />THE ZONING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED R -2B MULTIPLE FAMILY DISTRICT <br />THE ORIGINAL REQUEST WAS FOR R -2C. <br />THE CHAIRMAN ASKED IF ANYONE PRESENT WISH.ED.TO BE HEARD•.; <br />THERE WERE NONE. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED THE R -2B MULTIPLE FAMILY <br />DISTRICT, AS REQUESTED BY VERO BEACH SHORES, INC., .JULIAN M. <br />LOWENSTEIN, PRESIDENT. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75-6 <br />WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of Indian River County, Flor- <br />ida, did, after public hearing, make its final report recommend- <br />ing changes and additions to the Zoning Ordinance of Indian River <br />County, Florida; and,* <br />WHEREAS, this Board did publish its notice of said recommended <br />changes and additions and did, pursuant thereto, hold a public hear- <br />ing in relation thereto at which parties in interest and citizens <br />were heard: Now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, that the Zoning Ordinance of Indian River <br />County, Florida, and the accompanying Zoning Map, be changed as <br />follows: <br />1. That the Zoning Map be changed in order that the follow- <br />ing property owned by Vero Beach Shores, Inc., Julian M. Lowenstein, <br />President, situated id Indian River County, Florida, to -wit: <br />The East 455 feet of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of <br />the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section 30, less the <br />South 875 feet thereof, and also the West 1450 feet of <br />the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section 30, Township <br />33 -South, Range 40 -East, less the South 875 feet thereof. <br />All lying and being in Indian River County, Florida, and <br />containing 20.20 acres, more or less. <br />Be changed from R-1 Single Family District, to R -2B <br />Multiple Family District. <br />All within the meaning and intent and as set forth and describ- <br />ed in said Zoning Regulation. <br />-14- <br />BOOK 22 PAGE 60 <br />
