THE PELICAN ISLAND.AUDUBON SOCIETY WILL PAY FOR PUBLICATION <br />OF THE QUESTIONNAIRE TO GET THE FEELING OF THE PUBLIC ON THE PROPOSED <br />BOND ISSUE, <br />HELANE WINCHESTER AND PATRICIA BRIDWELL WITH THE VERO BEACH. <br />ART CLUB, INC. PRESENTED A PAINTING BY GILBERT EMERSON TO THE COM- <br />MISSIONERS, STATING THAT "PURCHASE AWARDS -PICTURES" ARE PAINTED BY <br />LOCAL ARTISTS AND ARE THE PROPERTY OF THE VERO BEACH ART CLUB AND <br />ARE ON LOAN IN PUBLIC BUILDINGS UNTIL THE ART CLUB HAS A GALLERY OR <br />BUILDING OF THEIR OWN. <br />THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR INFORMED THE BOARD THAT ON 43RD <br />AVENUE, SOUTH OF OSLO ROAD THERE IS QUITE A BIT OF -THRU :TRUCK <br />TRAFFIC AND SUGGESTED THAT SIGNS BE PUT UP PROHIBITING THRU TRUCK <br />TRAFFIC SOUTH OF OSLO ROAD ON 43RD AVENUE, IF THE BOARD APPROVES <br />THESE SIGNS, THE SHERIFF WILL BE NOTIFIED THAT INTERSTATE TRUCKS <br />WILL BE PROHIBITED ON THIS ROAD. <br />THE BOARD THEN DISCUSSED 27TH AVENUE SOUTH OF OSLO ROAD, <br />AND IT WAS AGREED TO PROHIBIT THRU TRUCK TRAFFIC ON THIS ROAD ALSO, <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AGREED TO HAVE SIGNS POSTED TO RESTRICT <br />THRU TRUCK TRAFFIC ON 27TH AVENUE AND 43RD AVENUE SOUTH OF OSLO ROAD <br />AND THAT THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR WILL NOTIFY THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT. <br />THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR READ A LETTER FROM THE ROSELAND- <br />WOMEN'S CLUB ASKING IF AN ADDITIONAL WELL COULD BE DUG AS THEIR SUPPLY <br />OF WATER IS'INADEQUATE. <br />AN AGREEMENT WAS PREPARED BETWEEN THE COUNTY AND THE ROSELAND <br />WOMEN'S CLUB SETTING OUT FEES TO DIFFERENT ORGANIZATIONS WISHING TO <br />USE THE CLUB. IT WAS QUESTIONED IF THE AMOUNT OF FEES COLLECTED <br />IS SUFFICIENT TO INSTALL A NEW WELL. <br />THE BOARD SUGGESTED THAT THIS AGREEMENT BE REVIEWED BY THE <br />ATTORNEY AND. HE REPORT BAC.K,TO THE :BOARD. <br />COMMISSIONER MASSEY VOLUNTEERED TO INVESTIGATE THE ITEMS <br />BROUGHT TO THE BOARD'S ATTENTION BY THE ROSELAND WOMEN'S CLUB, <br />DEWEY WALKER, ZONNING DIRECTOR, APPEARED REQUESTING A SPECIAL <br />EXCEPTION PERMIT FOR LOIS JOHNSON TO BUILD A HOUSE ON HER PROPERTY <br />LOCATED OFF OSLO ROAD. MR, WALKER STATED THAT SHE HAS A DEED FOR A <br />20 FOOT EASEMENT IN FRONT OF HER PROPERTY, WHICH PROVIDES HER WITH <br />INGRESS AND EGRESS, <br />BOOK PAGE 51 <br />
