THE ZEUCH PROPOSAL DID NOT INCLUDE WORKMAN'S COMPENSATION, AUTOMOTIVE <br />OR EQUIPMENT INSURANCE. GEORGE MCKENNA, ASSISTANT COUNTY ADMINIS- <br />TRATOR STATED THAT THE ZEUCH INSURANCE PROPOSAL WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE <br />AS IT DID NOT MEET THE SPECIFICATIONS AS ADVERTISED. <br />SHERIFF SAM T. JOYCE WAS PRESENT FOR THIS DISCUSSION AND <br />IT WAS STATED THAT HIS FLEET POLICY DOES NOT EXPIRE UNTIL AUGUST <br />31, 1975 AND THE ARDEN INSURANCE PROPOSAL DID NOT QUOTE A RATE <br />FOR THIS POLICY. <br />HAMILTON ARDEN APPEARED AND STATED THAT THE SHERIFF'S FLEET <br />POLICY WAS EXCLUDED BECAUSE OF THE TIME DIFFERENCE, BUT HE WOULD <br />QUOTE A RATE BEFORE EXPIRATION OF THAT POLICY. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />WODTKE, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ACCEPTED THE BID OF ARDEN INSURANCE <br />SERVICE FOR COUNTY COVERAGE, AS BEING THE LOWEST AND BEST BID <br />MEETING SPECIFICATIONS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $54,007.00. <br />MR. ARDEN INFORMED THE BOARD OF A MEETING OF THE KIWANIS- <br />HOBART PARK COMMITTEE WHO HAD REVIEWED PROPOSALS FOR A BRIDLE PATH <br />AND THERE IS AN AREA THAT THE COMMITTEE AGREES IS SUITABLE. THE <br />COMMITTEE HAS RECEIVED THE APPROVAL OF THE KIWANIS CLUB, PLANNING <br />DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN FORESTER, <br />MR. ARDEN STATED THAT THERE ARE 60 ACRES THAT THE COMMITTEE <br />IS RECOMMENDING FOR THIS PURPOSE. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AGREED THAT THE COUNTY ACCEPT THE <br />RECOMMENDATION OF THE KIWANIS-HOBART PARK COMMITTEE REGARDING A <br />BRIDLE PATH AT THE KIWANIS-HOBART PARK. <br />MR. ARDEN FORMALLY TURNED OVER TO THE BOARD A NEW BASEBALL ' <br />FIELD AT THE PARK. THIS BALL FIELD IS FENCED, HAS A WATER SPRINKLING <br />SYSTEM, PUMP AND WELL AND WILL BE READY FOR USE WITHIN 30 DAYS. <br />THE HOUR OF 11:00 O'CLOCK A.M.
