ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />WODTKE, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AGREED TO REOPEN CONSIDERATION OF THE <br />MINUTES OF MAY 29, 1975. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT REQUESTED ON PAGE 21, SEVENTH CARAGRAPH, <br />THIRD LINE, THAT PORTION READING "ee,PROPER PLACE FOR MULTIPLE FAMILY,,." <br />BE CHANGED TO READ " „ .PROPER PLACE FOR HIGHER DENSITY WHICH WOULD ALLOW <br />MULTIPLE FAMILY,.." <br />THIS CORRECTION HAVING BEEN MADE, A MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMIS— <br />SIONER SCHMUCKER, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY <br />APPROVED THE MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF MAY 29, 1975 AS WRITTEN. <br />CHAIRMAN LOY STATED THAT IN TRYING TO GO ABOUT THE LEGAL PROCED— <br />URE OF HANDLING THE TERMINATION OF A FRANCHISE PRESENTLY OWNED BY MR, <br />CHADWICK AND MR. DORTON (ANDY'S SANITATION), IT WAS THE DETERMINATION OF <br />THE COUNTY ATTORNEY THAT IT DID NOT HAVE TO BE AN ADVERTISED PUBLIC HEARING, <br />AND IT WAS NOT ADVERTISED, THIS PUBLIC HEARING WAS NOT HANDLED ACCORDING TO <br />OUR USUAL PROCEDURES ESTABLISHED FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS AND WAS INADVERTENTLY <br />NOT PLACED ON TODAY'S AGENDA, ATTORNEY BURCH HAD INFORMED ALL THE PARTIES <br />INVOLVED TO APPEAR THIS MORNING AT 11:30 O'CLOCK AA) BUT THE COUNTY <br />ADMINISTRATOR HAS RECEIVED A NUMBER OF TELEPHONE CALLS ASKING IF THIS <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS ON THE AGENDA, AND THEY WERE TOLD IT WAS NOT, THE BOARD <br />AGREED THAT THE GENERAL PUBLIC WAS NOT WELL INFORMED OF THIS PUBLIC HEARING <br />AND THAT IT SHOULD BE POSTPONED UNTIL THE NEXT MEETING. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />WODTKE, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AGREED THAT AUTHORIZATION TO REVOKE THE <br />CHADWICK AND DORTON FRANCHISE IN AN UNADVERTISED PUBLIC HEARING BE AN <br />AGENDA ITEM AT THE MEETING OF JULY 9, 1975, THE TIME TO BE DETERMINED BY <br />-THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR. <br />DR. JOHN DAYTON AND DR, DONALD AMES REPRESENTING A GROUP OF <br />DOCTORS KNOWN AS VERO MED, INC., APPEARED AND INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THIS <br />GROUP IS PLANNING ON BUILDING AN OFFICE BUILDING NEAR THE NEW HOSPITAL ON <br />PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE COUNTY'S UTILITY AREA, THIS PROPERTY IS DESCRIBED <br />AS THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 35, TOWNSHIP 32S, <br />RANGE 39E, VERO MED IS REQUESTING A RELEASE FROM THE COUNTY'S SERVICE <br />2 <br />[TOOK 23 PEE 69 <br />
