MR. COOPER APPEARED AND STATED THAT MR. HOPE HAS OWNED THIS <br />PROPERTY SINCE 1968 AND THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR HAS A COPY OF HIS RECORDED <br />DEED. THIS PROPERTY IS NOT LOCATED ON A PUBLIC ROAD, BUT THERE IS A • <br />DEDICATED EASEMENT THAT WILL ALLOW INGRESS AND EGRESS TO MR, HOPE'S PROP- <br />ERTY. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY GRANTED JACK COOPER REPRESENTING WILLIAM <br />HOPE A SPECIAL EXCEPTION TO COUNTY ORDINANCE 74-20 IN ORDER FOR MR, HOPE <br />TO BUILD ONE RESIDENCE ON HIS PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS PART OF GOVERNMENT <br />LOTS 2, 3, 4, AND 5, SECTION 25, TOWNSHIP 30, RANGE 38, LYING EAST OF <br />U.S.I. <br />THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR STATED THAT THE BOARD HAD REQUESTED <br />HIM TO OBTAIN PROPOSALS FOR A WATER PUMP AND WELL TO BE INSTALLED ON <br />COUNTY PROPERTY FOR THE ROSELAND WOMEN'S CLUB, HE DID OBTAIN A PROPOSAL <br />FROM JACOBS ELECTRIC IN THE AMOUNT OF $818.00. HE CONTINUED THAT HE CON- <br />TACTED ANOTHER COMPANY FOR A PROPOSAL, BUT HE DID NOT RECEIVE ANY RESPONSE <br />THE PROPOSAL FROM JACOBS ELECTRIC IS FOR A COMPLETE NEW WATER <br />SOURCE FOR THIS CLUB. THE PRESENT SYSTEM IS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY. <br />THE BOARD AGREED THAT COMMISSIONER MASSEY WILL CHECK THIS PRICE <br />AND REPORT BACK TO THE BOARD, <br />THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR INFORMED THE BOARD OF A LETTER RE- <br />CEIVED FROM THE CITY OF VERO BEACH REGARDING HAZARDOUS OBSTACLES BEING <br />REMOVED FROM THE BEACHES, MR, H. BACH NIELSEN, ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER <br />WITH THE CITY OF VERO BEACH, STATED THAT HE HAD WRITTEN A LETTER TO <br />COLONEL HOBBS, WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY, CORPS OF ENGINEERS, TO <br />GET THESE HAZARDS REMOVED, THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR STATED THAT, IN HIS <br />,,.OPINION, THE JOB THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE IS BEING DONE. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT SUGGESTED THAT A LETTER BE SENT TO THE <br />CITY OF VERO BEACH STATING THAT WE CONCUR THAT IT IS A HAZARDOUS STTUATION, <br />AND WE WILL COOPERATE IN ANY WAY WE CAN. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SCHMUCKER, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED A LETTER, SIGNED BY THE CHAIR- <br />MAN, BE SENT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY, CORPS OF ENGINEERS, SUPPORTING THE <br />6 <br />JUN 181975 <br />^;h f , <br />
