WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 1975 <br />THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA MET IN SPECIAL SESSION AT THE COURTHOUSE, VERO BEACH, FLORIDA <br />ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 1975 AT 10:30 O'CLOCK A.M. PRESENT WERE <br />ALMA LEE LOY, CHAIRMAN; WILLARD W. SIEBERT, JR., VICE CHAIRMAN; <br />EDWARD J. MASSEY, EDWIN S. SCHMUCKER AND WILLIAM C. WODTKE, JR. <br />ALSO PRESENT WERE JACK G. JENNINGS, COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR; <br />L.S. "TOMMY" THOMAS, COUNTY COORDINATOR AND ELIZABETH FORLANI, <br />DEPUTY CLERK. PAUL D. BURCH, ATTORNEY TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM- <br />MISSIONERS WAS ABSENT DUE TO ILLNESS AND GEORGE G. COLLINS, .JR., <br />ATTORNEY SAT IN FOR HIM. <br />THE CHAIRMAN STATED THAT THIS MEETING HAS BEEN CALLED TO <br />HEAR A REPORT FROM THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY GOVERNMENT STUDY <br />COMMITTEE. THIS COMMITTEE WAS APPOINTED ON APRIL 23, 1975 AND <br />WAS CHARGED WITH THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EXAMINING OUR PRESENT FORM <br />OF COUNTY GOVERNMENT AND THE POSSIBLE ALTERNATIVES, IN AN EFFORT <br />TO PROMOTE THE MOST ECONOMICAL, MOST EFFICIENT AND MOST EFFECTIVE <br />SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT FOR THE CITIZENS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY. <br />THIS THEY HAVE ACCOMPLISHED, <br />DANK. RICHARDSON, CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT STUDY COMMITTEE <br />APPEARED AND STATED THAT THE REPORT HAD BEEN PRESENTED TO THE <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND READ THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION THAT WAS <br />ADOPTED BY THE GOVERNMENT STUDY COMMITTEE. <br />SEP 31975 <br />
