PROPERTY. AT THAT TIME THE BOARD ALSO DISCUSSED HAVING THE APPRAISAL <br />INCLUDE AN ADDITIONAL 40 FEET ALONG CITRUS ROAD IN ORDER TO SATISFY FUTURE <br />ROAD NEEDS. <br />AT THE OCTOBER 22ND MEETING, ATTORNEY COLLINS INFORMED THE BOARD <br />THAT AN APPRAISAL HAD BEEN MADE AND SHOWS THIS PROPERTY TO BE VALUED AT <br />$2,500 PER'ACRE. MR. GAIDRY WAS INFORMED OF THIS APPRAISAL, AND HE STATED <br />THAT HE FELT THE APPRAISAL FIGURE OF $2,500 PER ACRE WAS TOO LOW IN COMPARI— <br />SON TO SALES IN THE AREA, BUT HE WOULD CONSIDER IT IN ORDER TO CLEAR UP THE <br />ENCROACHMENT ON HIS PROPERTY. AT THAT TIME "'IR, GAIDRY STATED THAT HE WOULD <br />NOT BE WILLING TO SELL ANY ADDITIONAL PROPERTY FOR FUTURE RIGHT OF WAY, <br />MARVIN CARTER WITH CARTER ASSOCIATES INC. AND C. W. GAIDRY APPEARED <br />TO DISCUSS THE ENCROACHMENT PROBLEM ALONG CITRUS ROAD, <br />MR. CARTER ALSO DISCUSSED ANOTHER PROBLEM IN THAT FLORIDA POWER AND <br />LIGHT COMPANY HAS SEVERAL POWER POLES ALONG THE 'IORTH PROPERTY LINE WHICH ARE <br />NOT ON THEIR EASEMENT BUT ON THE 10 FEET OF PROPERTY THAT THE COUNTY IS CON— <br />TEMPLATING BUYING, <br />THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR STATED THAT IT WOULD NOT BE FEASIBLE TO HAVE <br />FLORIDA POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY MOVE THEIR POWER POLES FIVE OR SIX FEET NOW, <br />AND THEN AT SOME FUTURE TIME WHEN IT MIGHT BE NECESSARY TO WIDEN CITRUS ROAD, <br />THE POWER POLES WOULD HAVE TO BE MOVED AGAIN, THE SUGGESTED LEAVING THE POWER <br />POLES WHERE THEY ARE. <br />A MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />MASSEY, TO PURCHASE APPROXIMATELY 10 FEET OF PROPERTY ALONG CITRUS ROAD TO <br />RANGELINE ROAD, BORDERING ON C, W. GAIDRY'S PROPERTY IN THE AMOUNT .OF $2,500. <br />PER ACRE. THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS: <br />NOV 19 1975 <br />1. The North 10 feet of Tract 12, same being the South 10 <br />feet of the North 60 feet of the Northwest Quarter of <br />Southwest Quarter of Section 13, Township 33 South, <br />Range 38 East, less right-of-way for Ranch Road (S.R. 609); <br />containing 0.296 acres. <br />2. The North 10 feet of Tract 11, same being the South 10 <br />feet of the North 60 feet of the Northeast Quarter of. <br />Southwest Quarter of Section 13, Township 33 South, Range <br />38 East; containing 0.305 acres. <br />3.
