MR. MATTHEWS EXPRESSED CONCERN THAT AN ALTERNATE PLAN SHOULD BE <br />AVAILABLE IN CASE THIS PLAN FALLS SHORT OF ITS EXPECTATIONS. <br />ATTORNEY JENNINGS STATED THAT SOMETIMES_ PEOPLE WHO JOIN COMMITTEES <br />DO NOT HAVE THE TIME NECESSARY TO DO THE WORK AND SOME OF OUR PEOPLE IN THE <br />COMMUNITY ARE RELUCTANT TO COME TO THESE MEETINGS. HE QUESTIONED THE PROPER <br />PROCEDURE TO REMOVE SOMEONE FROM A COMMITTEE WHO IS NOT ACTIVELY.INVOLV.ED <br />WITH THE JOB OF WORKING WITH THE COMMUNITY AND GETTING FEEDBACK TO THE <br />BOARD. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT STATED THAT IF PEOPLE ARE INTERESTED IN MORE <br />INFORMATION THEY COULD SEEK OUT COMMITTEE PEOPLE AND REDUEST THEM.TO ATTEND <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.ADVISORY MEETINGS, PROGRESSIVE LEAGUE MEETINGS AND <br />.JAYCEE MEETINGS AND ASK THEM TO EXPLAIN WHAT IS BEING DONE RAT4ER THAN <br />TALKING AMONGST THEMSELVES, <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE EXPLAINED THAT THERE IS NO WAY THE COUNTY CAN <br />USE MONEY RECEIVED FROM THE STATE IN ANY OTHER AREA THAN THOSE AREAS THAT <br />• WERE APPROVED IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GRANT APPLICATION. <br />COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER STATED THAT HE IS THE CHAIRMAN OF THE <br />TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND STATED THAT IF ANYONE HAS ANY PROBLEMS <br />UNDERSTANDING THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, TO PLEASE CALL HIM. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />MASSEY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED, AS CORRECTED, THE PRE -APPLICATION <br />FOR FEDERAL ASSISTANCE ON OUR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR THE YEAR <br />1976-77 AND AUTHORIZED THE SIGNATURE OF THE CHAIRMAN. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER WODTKE, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER Loy, <br />THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED RESOLUTION N0. 76-10, WHEREBY THE BOARD EX- <br />PRESSES ITS INTEREST IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. <br />3 <br />
