ADMINISTRATOR .JENNINGS DISCUSSED THE REQUEST MADE BY CARTER <br />ASSOCIATES ON BEHALF OF BOB MAXWELL FOR TENTATIVE APPROVAL OF MAXWELL MANOR. <br />HE STATED THAT THIS HAS BEEN BEFORE THE SUBDIVISION REVIEW COMMITTEE AND <br />HAS BEEN APPROVED BY THEM AND PRESENTED A PLAT OF THE SUBDIVISION TO THE <br />BOARD TO REVIEW. <br />COMMISSIONER VIODTKE EXPRESSED CONCERN ABOUT THE DRAINAGE AND <br />THE MOVEMENT OF WATER TO LINDSEY ROAD. <br />DISCUSSION FOLLOWED, AND ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, SEC— <br />ONDED BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY GRANTED TENTATIVE <br />APPROVAL OF MAXWELL MANOR SUBJECT TO THE DRAINAGE BEING WORKED -OUT TO THE <br />SATISFACTION OF THE ADMINISTRATOR BEFORE FINAL APPROVAL. <br />ROSEMARY RICHEY APPEARED IN REGARD TO A REQUEST FROM THE CITY OF <br />SEBASTIAN TO PLACE A BALLOT ON THE VOTING MACHINES FOR A SPECIAL CITY ELEC- <br />TION SEPTEMBER 7, 1976. MRS. RICHEY STATED THAT THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH <br />PRIMARY LEVERS ON THE MACHINES TO HANDLE THIS, BUT THE PROBLEM CAN BE <br />SOLVED BY SENDING AN ADDITIONAL VOTING MACHINE TO SEBASTIAN TO HANDLE THAT <br />PARTICULAR BALLOT, <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SCHMUCKER, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED PLACING AN ADDITIONAL VOTING <br />MACHINE IN SEBASTIAN TO HANDLE THEIR SPECIAL CITY ELECTION AS THIS CANNOT <br />BE PLACED ON THE PRIMARY BALLOT. <br />MRS. IRENE WAMPLER, R.N..ADMINISTRATOR, AND ARTHUR FUSS, <br />EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE ST. LUCIE HOME HEALTH AGENCY, INC., APPEARED, <br />MRS. WAMPLER MADE A PRESENTATION STATING THAT THEY ARE A NON—PROFIT <br />AGENCY, COMPLETELY FUNDED THROUGH MEDICARE, OFFERING SKILLED NURSING <br />CARE TO THE ELDERLY. SHE CONTINUED THAT THEY WORK UNDER THE SUPERVISION <br />OF A DOCTOR AND THEIR SERVICES ENABLES THE PATIENT TO GO HOME FROM THE <br />HOSPITAL WITH INTERMITTENT NURSING CARE. MRS. WAMPLER STATED THAT THEY <br />WOULD LIKE THE BOARD'S SUPPORT IN ORDER TO GET APPROVAL OF THE HEALTH <br />COUNCIL FOR INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AND SHE NOTED THEY MAY BE REQUIRED TO HAVE <br />A CERTIFICATE OF NEED.. <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE ASKED IF THEY HAVE OFFICES.IN BOTH ST. LUCIE <br />AND MARTIN COUNTIES. <br />MRS'e WAMPLER STATED THAT -THEY HAVE AN OFFICE IN STUART AND WORK <br />OUT OF HER HOME IN ST, LUCIE COUNTY.
