MR. .ANDERSON NOTED THAT THEY ARE AWARE OF THE COUNTY'S PROBLEMS <br />i <br />WITH WATER, BUT POINTED OUT THAT THE COUNTY STILL HAS OVER G.P.D. <br />SEWER ALLOCATION LEFT AND THE CITY HAS A PLANT CAPACITY OF THREE TIMES <br />WHAT THEY AREUSING► THEY WOULD, THEREFORE, LIKE TO APPLY FOR A 39,901 G.P.D.. <br />SEWER ALLOCATION UNDER THE TRIPARTITE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERO <br />BEACH, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AND THE TOWN OF INDIAN RIVER SHORES, HE STATED <br />THAT JERRY KEEN OF KEEN'S SUPERMARKET ALSO .HAS A WATER PROBLEM IN P�GARD <br />TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF HIS NEW SUPERMARKET, AND HE AND MR, SEMBLER ARE IN- <br />TERESTED IN THE POSSIBILITY OF PURSUING THIS PROBLEM JOINTLY. -HE REITER- <br />ATED THAT MR. SEMBLER IS AT THIS TIME REQUESTING ONLY A 30,009 G.P.D. SEWER <br />ALLOCATION AND NOTED THAT THIS CAN BE MEASURED AS IT ENTERS THE PLANT SO <br />THERE WOULD BE NO PROBLEM WITH MEASUREMENT. <br />MR, ANDERSON COMPLIMENTED THE COMMISSIONERS ON THEIR INTEGRITY <br />AND FAIRNESS AND REASSURED THEM THAT J.C.PENNEY WOULD LOCATE IN THIS MALL, <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT ASKED IF IT WAS CORRECT THAT THE SEWER ALLOCATION <br />WOULD BE MONITORED AND BILLED TO THE COUNTY. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS NOTED THAT WAS THE WAY IT WAS SET UP WITH <br />IRB SEMBLER APPEARED AND INFORMED THE BOARD THAT HE HAS HAD A <br />GREAT DEAL OF INTEREST IN THIS PROJECT FROM CITIZENS OF THIS COMMUNITY. HE <br />ALSO STATED THAT HE WILL BE -REQUIRED TO RUN A LINE DIRECTLY TO THE <br />SEWER PLANT SO IT CAN BE MEASURED. THE WATER PROBLEM WILL HAVE TO BE SOLVED <br />IN OTHER WAYS AND HOPEFULLY HE WILL NOT HAVE TO COME BACK TO THE BOARD. <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE NOTED THAT MR. SEMBLER HAD DEVELOPED THE <br />FIELD S SHOPPING CENTER IN FORT PIERCE AND ASKED IF HE ALSO DID THE ONE <br />IN PORT ST. LUCIE, AND IF S0, WHETHER IT WAS COMPLETED, <br />MR, SEMBLER STATED THAT HE DID, AND IT WAS NOT COMPLETED IN TOTO. <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE ASKED IF MR. SEMBLER HAD LIVED UP TO HIS <br />PROMISES TO THE MERCHANTS IN THESE AREAS, AND.HE ANSWERED THAT HE HAD ABSO- <br />LUTELY. <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE THEN POINTED OUT TO MR. SEMBLER THAT IF THE <br />BOARD GIVES HIM THE SEWER ALLOCATION, THEY CANNOT PROMISE.THAT IN THE FUTURE <br />THEY WILL BE ABLE TO ALLOCATE THE WATER ALSO. <br />COMMISSIONER LOY ASKED.' -IF IT WAS MR.
