To close this part of <br />the Park is to deny the public a certain kind of recreation. <br />The property-o,rners vho object to the eXistance of this part of <br />the :harp, and --ho have been a':)le to have. it closed, i e*- that <br />the Fark --as there *-hen they bought the property. 2ather than <br />demand that this part o' the :-ar% be forever closet, they have the <br />right to remove the:aselves fron this location to one *.-hick gives <br />them the atmosphere -?hich they desire. <br />Once Public Land is given over to r'rivate interests, it is forever <br />lost.
