• <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003- 129 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, RESTRUCTURING THE HISTORIC <br />RESOURCES ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Florida Statutes, the County has adopted land <br />development regulations; and <br />WHEREAS, these regulations are voluminous and cover many professional <br />disciplines including historical and archeological, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the will of the Board of County Commissioners to restructure the <br />composition of the Historic Resources Advisory Committee in Tight of recent ordinance <br />changes so it may continue to advise the Board regarding historical or archeological <br />matters covered by land development regulations; and <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution 90-155, the Board of County Commissioners created <br />the Historic Resources Advisory Committee; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />1. ESTABLISHMENT. <br />The Historic Resources Advisory Committee is hereby reestablished and <br />restructured. This Resolution repeals and replaces Resolution 90-155. <br />2. MEMBERSHIP. <br />The Histonc Resources Advisory Committee shall be composed of five members <br />who are residents of Indian River County and shall consist of the following persons: <br />a. At least one Florida licensed/registered architect or engineer with <br />knowledge of the preservation of historic or archeological sites and <br />structures; <br />b. At least one member with practical experience in one or more of the <br />following fields: real estate, planning, finance, engineering, law, building <br />construction, landscape architecture, historic preservation or <br />archeological research; <br />c. Two positions shall be comprised of citizens at Targe with a particular <br />interest or knowledge of historic and/or archeological preservation, <br />identification, or designation. <br />FA\Attorney\Bill\Dictation\Committees\historic resources advisory committee.doc <br />
