SECTION 2. The Board of County Commissioners directs the Utility <br />Services Director to execute and submit an application to the Florida Department of <br />Community Affairs for State approval. <br />SECTION 3. The Board of County Commissioners authorizes and directs the <br />Utility Services Director to submit additional information in a timely manner as <br />may be required by the Florida Department of Community Affairs. <br />Attachment 4 <br />SECTION 4. The Board of County Commissioners authorizes the Utility <br />Services Director to sign any subsequent forms as needed for the CDBG application <br />and project. <br />SECTION 5. The Indian River County Comprehensive Plan is hereby <br />adopted as the County's Community Development Plan. <br />SECTION 6. The Board of County Commissioners does hereby commit to <br />spend $125,000.00 in local SHIP funds on CDBF eligible activities identified in the <br />Indian River County 2011 CDBG NR application as local government leverage in <br />accordance with the applicable rules and guidelines as set for the by the department <br />of Community Affairs, subject to grant award to the County. <br />SECTION 7 The Board of County Commissioners does herby commit to <br />expend all local government leverage funds between the time of site visit and the <br />time of administrative close-out for said application, in accordance with applicable <br />rules and guidelines as set forth by the Department of Community Affairs. <br />SECTION 8. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage. <br />2 <br />
