)0 I-AIVS ()F FLORIDA <br />.►ani <br />lil CIIAI'Mi 21304—(\o. 101)6), <br />IIOUSM, BILL -N0. 10.13 <br />AN ACT to Prohibit the Taking of or Atten►pting to Take Fish, <br />Except With Hook and Line, in All Waters of the Indian <br />River County, Florida, Wbich Are Within the Distance of One <br />Hundred lards in Any Direction of and From Ally Bridge <br />Which Traverccs the Indian River or Any Part Thereof in <br />Indian River C'oupty, Florida; Providing for the Enforce- <br />ment of ,Said Act; Providing Penalties for the Violation of <br />Said Act. <br />Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:. <br />Section 1. For the purpose of this Act, the following shall <br />be construed respectively to mean: <br />' Person. The plural or singular, as the case den►ands, includ- <br />ing individuals, miociatious, partnerships and corporations, un- <br />less the contest rhould otherwise require. <br />Taking or attempting to take. Whenever it is made unlawful <br />to "ta7:e" or "attempt to take" fish, the same shall be construed <br />to include the pursuing, killing, capturing, trapping, snaring, <br />netting, gigging and worrying or attempting to pursue, kill, cap- <br />ture, trap, snare, net, gib or worry fish. <br />Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person to take or <br />attempt to take fish, except with hook and line, in all waters of <br />.-the Indian River in Indian River County, Florida, which are <br />within the distance of one hundred yards in any direction of <br />and from any bridge which traverses the Iridian River, or any <br />part thereof, in Indian River County, Florida. <br />Section 3. Any person violating any provision of this Act <br />shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof <br />shall be punished by fine not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars <br />($500.00) or by imprisonment in the County jail, for a period <br />not exceeding six months, or by both such fine and imprison- <br />ment, in the discretion of the Court trying the offender. <br />Section 4. All laws and parts of laws in conflict herewith <br />are hereby repealed. <br />Section 5.
