HAVING PASSED, THE DEPUTY <br />CLERK READ THE FOLLOWING NOITCE WITH PROOF OF PUBLICATION ATTACHED, <br />TO—WIT: <br />VERO BEACH PRESS -JOURNAL <br />Published Weekly <br />Vera Beach, Indian River County, Florida <br />COUNTY OF INDIAN RIVER: <br />STATE OF FLORIDA <br />Before the undersigned authority personally appeared J. J. Schumann, Jr. who on oath <br />says that he is Business Manager of the Vero Beach Press -Journal, a weekly newspaper published <br />at Vero Beach in Indian River County, Florida; that the attached copy of advertisement, being <br />in the matter of o TA X,"P %2 <br />In the Court; was Pub- <br />lished In said newspaper in the issues of 9 2 -1 Q ZZ <br />Affiant further says that the said Vero Beach Press -Journal is a newspaper published at <br />Vero Beach, in said Indian River County, and that the said newspaper has heretofore <br />been continuously published in said Indian River County, Florida, weekly and has been entered <br />as second class mail matter at the post office in Vero Beach, in said Indian River County, Florida <br />for a period of one year next preceeding the first publication of the attached copy of adver- <br />tisement; and affiant further says that he has neither paid nor promised any person, firm or <br />corporation any discount, rebate, commission or refund for the purpose of securing this adver- <br />tisement for publication in the said newspaper. <br />Sworn to and subscribed before mrhis day, of A.D. <br />(Business Manager) <br />(SEAQ (Clerk of the Circuit Courtlphian River County, Florida) <br />NOTICE <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board <br />of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, will receive bids to the hour of <br />9:30 A.M., Wednesday, December 7, 1977, for <br />the following: <br />190 Dodge Fire Truck, <br />Serial Number T1821068. <br />The Board of County Commissioners <br />reserves the right to relett any or all of the <br />bids and make awards in any manner which <br />the Board considers to be in the best interest of <br />Indian River County, Florida. <br />Bids for the above item shall be submitted in <br />an envelope securely sealed and marked on the <br />outside to show the item being bid on and the <br />date and time Of the opening. The bids may be <br />mailed or delivered to the Office of the County <br />Administrator, Room 115, County Court House, <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960. Proposals received <br />after 9:30 A.M., December 7, 1977, will be <br />returned unopened: <br />Indian River County, Florida <br />Nov. 9, 16,1977. <br />THE CHAIRMAN THEN ASKED FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS IN ACCORDANCE <br />WITH THE NOTICE AND THE FOLLOWING SEALED BIDS WERE RECEIVED, OPENED <br />AND READ: <br />NO BIDS WERE RECEIVED. <br />COMMISSIONER DEESON NOTED THAT THE TRUCK ADVERTISED IS NOT <br />THE ONE THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WISHES TO SELL, AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL <br />COORDINATOR THOMAS STATED THAT HE HAS RESEARCHED THE FILE AND BELIEVES <br />THE COUNTY HAS NO OWNERSHIP OF THE TRUCK ADVERTISED AS IT IS A DIFFERENT <br />SERIAL NUMBER.
