ONE ADDITIONAL HOUR ON FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS AND LEAVE THE -OTHER HOURS <br />THE SAME, EXCEPT NEW YEARS EVE. <br />COMMISSIONER Loy POINTED OUT THAT'THIS IS NOT WHAT THE PETI- <br />TIONERS ARE REQUESTING, <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION <br />AYES: EHAIRMAN <br />OMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER NAYES: COMMISSIONER DEESON <br />WODTKEPOMMISSIONER <br />MMISSIONER Loy <br />SIEBERT <br />THE MOTION WAS DEFEATED. <br />COMMISSIONER Loy SUGGESTED LEAVING THE HOURS EXACTLY AS THEY <br />ARE NOW BECAUSE IF THE MUNICIPALITIES WANT TO CHANGE, THEY WILL KNOW <br />THE VOTES ARE HERE. <br />DISCUSSION CONTINUED IN REGARD TO THE VARIOUS ALTERNATIVES, AND <br />IT WAS FELT AN IMPASSE HAD BEEN REACHED. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS NOTED THAT ANOTHER MOTION COULD BE MADE OR <br />THERE COULD BE A MOTION TO ADJOURN, BUT HE FELT THE MATTER SHOULD BE <br />RESOLVED AT THIS MEETING. <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER TO TABLE ACTION ON <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR THIRTY DAYS, <br />MOTION DIED FOR LACK OF A SECOND. <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER TO EXTEND THE CLOSING <br />HOURS BY ONE HALF HOUR. <br />MOTION DIED FOR LACK OF A SECOND. <br />AFTER FURTHER DISCUSSION, MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, TO ADOPT RESOLUTION N0. 77- <br />126, TO BE DRAWN UP BY ATTORNEY COLLINS, INFORMING THE MUNICIPALITIES <br />OF OUR INTENTION TO EXTEND BAR HOURS FOR ONE HOUR AND INTENTION TO TAKE <br />FINAL ACTION ON FEBRUARY 22, 1978. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS EXPLAINED THAT THIS RESOLUTION IS, IN EFFECT, <br />MERELY A COMMUNICATION FROM ONE GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY TO ANOTHER. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />AYES: COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER NAYES: COMMISSIONER Loy <br />EOMMISSIONER SIEBERT OMMISSIONER DEESON <br />HAIRMAN WODTKE <br />THE MOTION CARRIED.
