MR. <br />ZORC CONTINUED THAT IF THE COUNTY HAS ANY LAND AVAILABLE IN THE GIFFORD <br />AREA, THE SAME MEN WHO DEVELOPED ST. FRANCIS MANOR WOULD LIKE TO EXPLORE <br />THE POSSIBILITY IN THE GIFFORD AREA. <br />LEON YOUNG THEN BROUGHT UP THE MATTER OF A TRAFFIC LIGHT <br />AT NORTH GIFFORD ROAD AND U.S. #1, WHICH IS PRESENTLY DESIGNATED AS A <br />SCHOOL CROSSING, HE NOTED THERE HAVE BEEN A NUMBER OF ACCIDENTS THERE <br />LATELY AND FELT THE LIGHT SHOULD BE MADE'AVAILABLE TO DIRECT TRAFFIC <br />AS WELL AS FOR PEDESTRIAN CROSSING. HE ASKED THAT THE BOARD LOOK INTO <br />THE POSSIBILITY OF HAVING THIS LIGHT MOVED OVER TO DIRECT TRAFFIC. <br />ADMINISTRATOR JENNINGS STATED THAT THIS PROBLEM WAS BROUGHT <br />TO HIS OFFICE BY THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT RECENTLY AND WAS ALSO BROUGHT <br />UP A WEEK AGO AT THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT MEETING. HE <br />CONTINUED THAT SINCE THAT TIME HE HAS WRITTEN THE DOT ASKING FOR A RE- <br />EVALUATION OF THIS LIGHT, AND THEY HAVE AGREED TO DO ONE, <br />THE HOUR OF ll:00 O'CLOCK A.M.
