Wodtke Jr., Chairman <br />Jan. 1, 1978. <br />ROBERT BERG, ASSISTANT COUNTY PLANNER, MADE THE PRESENTATION. <br />-HE NOTED THAT THIS ORDINANCE IS THE RESULT OF SEVERAL MEETINGS WITH <br />THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION PLUS COOPERATION FROM THE URBAN <br />FORESTER. IT BASICALLY APPLIES TO OFFSTREET PARKING AND WILL REQUIRE <br />LANDSCAPING THROUGHOUT THE AREA. MR. BERG STATED HE FEELS THIS IS A <br />GOOD AND COMPREHENSIVE ORDINANCE VERY SIMILAR TO THE ONE ADOPTED BY <br />THE CITY OF VERO BEACH AND READ TO THE BOARD ITS OBJECTIVES AS SET <br />OUT IN SECTION 1. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT HE HAS JUST RECENTLY <br />HAD A CHANCE TO REVIEW THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE AND THERE ARE LEGAL <br />MODIFICATIONS HE WOULD LIKE TO MAKE.
