ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />Loy, CHAIRMAN WODTKE VOTED IN FAVOR, THE BOARD AUTHORIZED PAYMENT TO <br />-A. MARIAN SOMERS OF $6,730.17, THE EXCESS AMOUNT ON THE TAX BID, PURSU- <br />ANT TO FLORIDA STATUTES, <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS NEXT INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THE WATER LINE <br />GOING TO GIFFORD WAS ORIGINALLY PLANNED TO GO ON THE WEST SIDE OF 28TH <br />AVENUE WHERE EXISTING EASEMENTS WERE AVAILABLE. IT NOW HAS BEEN DETER- <br />MINED THAT THERE ARE POWER LINES, ETC., WHICH WILL INTERFERE, AND IT, <br />THEREFORE, WILL BE MORE FEASIBLE TO CONSTRUCT THE WATER LINE ON THE <br />EAST SIDE OF 28TH AVENUE. THE ATTORNEY NOTED THAT THE COUNTY OWNS <br />RIGHTS-OF-WAY FOR APPROXIMATELY 4/7 OF THE WAY ON THE EAST SIDE, AND THE <br />COUNTY CONSTRUCTED AND HAS MAINTAINED 28TH AVENUE FOR SOME YEARS, IT <br />WAS HIS OPINION THAT ANY TITLE PROBLEMS COULD BE CLEARED UP BY FILING <br />A MAINTENANCE MAP, AND THEN THE COUNTY CAN PROCEED WITH CONSTRUCTION <br />OF THE LINE. ATTORNEY COLLINS STATED THAT THE MAINTENANCE MAP HAS BEEN <br />PREPARED, AND HE RECOMMENDS THAT THE BOARD AUTHORIZE ITS EXECUTION. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, CHAIRMAN WODTKE VOTED IN FAVOR, THE BOARD DESIGNATED 28TH AVENUE <br />IN BETWEEN P.ORTH AND SOUTH GIFFORD ROADS AS AN AREA THAT HAS BEEN MAIN- <br />TAINED BY THE COUNTY IN EXCESS OF FOUR YEARS AND AUTHORIZED THE APPRO- <br />PRIATE OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE THE MAINTENANCE MAP, <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS REQUESTED AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE. THE <br />REVISED SITE PLAN REVIEW REQUIREMENTS. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, CHAIRMAN WODTKE VOTED IN FAVOR, THE BOARD AUTHORIZED THE <br />ATTORNEY TO ADVERTISE A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE REVISED SITE PLAN REVIEW <br />REQUIREMENTS. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT HE BELIEVES IT IS <br />IMPORTANT TO REVIEW THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND PLAN <br />ACT, AND HE HAS OBTAINED COMMENTS ON THIS ACT FROM WILLIAM CALDWELL. <br />THE ATTORNEY SUGGESTED THE BOARD TAKE THE STEP OF HAVING THE CHAIRMAN <br />OF THE BOARD MEET WITH THE CHAIRMAN OF THE ZONING COMMISSION AND TRY <br />TO MAP OUT SOME KIND OF TIME FRAME WITHIN WHICH WE WILL BEGIN TO COMPLY <br />WITH THE ACT. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE STATED THAT HE HAS RECEIVED A LETTER FROM <br />DICK BIRD, CHAIRMAN OF THE ZONING COMMISSION, ON THIS SAME SUBJECT, AND <br />m. <br />FES �19�� <br />Bow 33 PAcE 491 <br />
