P <br />_2_ <br />W <br />thoroughly familiar with all conditions affecting the <br />work; prepare preliminary engineering data including <br />sketches, drawings, and recommendations regarding type <br />of roadway drainage system, grades, preliminary bridge <br />plans, etc. and perform such other services as are <br />mutually agreed to be necessary or desirable to advance <br />the Project; and assist the. County in obtaining approval <br />-of preliminary work from any local, state or federal <br />agency having an interest in the Project. <br />upon approval of preliminary engineering data, the <br />Engineer shall prepare final complete construction <br />plans and draft all special provisions for the Project <br />in accordance with the current County and Florida Depart- <br />ment of Transportation Standards used for the receipt of <br />bids, which shall include all necessary roadway and bridge <br />plans, and details of construction. All plan sheets <br />shall be of the best quality drafting material and shall <br />be furnished by the Engineer. In order to accomplish <br />the work described under this Phase, the Engineer shall <br />observe the following requirements: <br />1. Strive to complete his work on the Project within' <br />the time allowed by maintaining an adequate staff <br />of engineers, draftsmen, and other employees on <br />the work at all times. <br />2.
