ty <br />The Consultant, however, retains the right to decline, for stated <br />reasons, any particular request; or, offer an alternative man-hour <br />limitation, fixed fee, or scope of services within 10 working days <br />;of receipt of the County's.request/authorization. <br />Each such letter of request and authorization to proceed, and its <br />delineation of services to be provided, shall be considered a part <br />' :`:.of•Section I, Scope of Services, under this Contract. <br />t Al. AMENDMENTS <br />`The determination of the County of the need for planning activities not <br />included in the Scope of Services, above, required to support or <br />further document the Community Development Block Grant application will <br />provide basis for renegotiation of this Contract for professional <br />services, with regard to the total Scope of Services, to compensation <br />and method of payment for services rendered, and to the time of per- <br />formance. Revisions to this Contract so negotiated and mutually accept- <br />able both to the County and the Consultant may be incorporated as <br />amendments thereto. <br />III. TIME OF PERFORMANCE <br />The services of the Consultant will commence within 10 days upon execu- <br />tion of this Contract for Professional Services, and will be undertaken <br />and completed in such sequence as to assure their expeditious completion <br />with consideration to the purpose stated under Section I, Scope of Services. <br />The Continuing services under item C, Section I, will become available <br />as of the date of the Contract and will continue to be available until <br />the end of the County's 1978-79 CD Program Year. <br />IV.. -COMPENSATION AND METHOD OF PAYMENT <br />A.
