Providing (First Reso.) <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000- 0 7 3,L <br />3/25/97(ENG)RES 1.MAG\ktp <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN PAVING AND DRAINAGE <br />IMPROVEMENTS TO PORTIONS OF 19TH AVENUE SW <br />BETWEEN 10TH STREET SW & 9TH STREET SW AND 10TH <br />STREET SW BETWEEN 20TH AVENUE SW & 18TH AVENUE SW <br />IN OSLO PARK SUBDIVISION, PROVIDING THE TOTAL <br />ESTIMATED COST, METHOD OF PAYMENT OF <br />ASSESSMENTS, NUMBER OF ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS, <br />AND LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE AREA SPECIFICALLY <br />BENEFITTED. <br />WHEREAS, the County Public Works Department has been petitioned for Road <br />Paving and Drainage Improvement for Portions of 19`h Avenue SW between 10`h Street SW & 9`h <br />Street SW and 101h Street SW between 201h Avenue SW & 18'h Avenue SW in Oslo Park <br />Subdivision. <br />WHEREAS, the construction of paving and drainage improvements by special <br />assessment funding is authorized by Chapter 206, Section 206.01 through 206.09, Indian River <br />County Code; and cost estimates and preliminary assessment rolls have been completed by the <br />Public Works Department; and the total estimated cost of the proposed paving and drainage <br />improvements is EIGHTY ONE THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED SIXTY DOLLARS and ONE <br />CENTS ($81,660.01); and <br />WHEREAS, the special assessment provided hereunder shall, for any given record <br />owner of property within the area specially benefitted, be in an amount equal to that proportion of <br />seventy-five percent (75%) of the total cost of the project ($62,469.91) which the number of acres <br />owned by the given owner bears to the total number of acres within the areas specially benefitted and <br />twenty-five percent (25%) of the total cost of the project ($20,415.00) will <br />1 <br />
