1 <br />1.8 <br />Pay from the general funds or any other funds under the control of <br />the Board of County Commissioners except those by terms of this contract, <br />for routine and ordinary fees, salaries, and expenses of the District <br />Medical Examiner. <br />Provide the COMMISSION quarterly reports identifying total funds expended <br />or encumbered for Medical Examiner Services on forms provided by the <br />COMMISSION (Exhibit A) specifying: <br />a. - Salaries and/or Fees for Service <br />b. Transportation <br />C. Facilities and Equipment <br />d. Administrative Costs <br />e. Other Related Expenses <br />These reports are due the last day of the month in September, December, <br />-March, June. A final financial status report is due 45 days from the <br />termination date of this contract. <br />Return of Funds: <br />Any funds, or part thereof, not expended for the aforementioned services <br />shall be considered COMMISSION funds, and shall be returned to the <br />COMMISSION. Any funds improperly expended in violation of this contract <br />or state requirements, or any funds incorrectly expended shall be returned <br />in full to the COMMISSION. <br />Comply with Title VI and VII, Civil Rights Act of 1964: <br />a. That there will be no discrimination against any employee or persons <br />served on account of race, color, sex, religious background, ancestry <br />or national origin, in the performance of the Contract. <br />b. That the COUNTY shall comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act <br />of 1964 (42 USC 2000d) in regard to persons served. <br />c. That the COUNTY shall comply with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act <br />of 1964 in regard to employees or applicants for employment <br />d. That the COUNTY shall comply with Executive Order No. 11246, entitled, <br />"Equal Eniployment Opportunity", as supplemented in Department of Labor <br />Regulations (41 CFR Part 60). <br />e. - It is expressly understood that upon receipt.of evidence of such <br />discrimination, the COMMISSION shall have the right to terminate <br />this contract for breach of contract. <br />Com& with Federal Regulation -Concerning Non -Discrimination Because of <br />Mental and Physical Handicaps: <br />No otherwise qualified mentally or physically habdicapped individuals <br />shall,'solely by reason of his handicap, be excluded from the partici- <br />pation in, be denied benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination <br />under this Contract. The COUNTY agrees to take affirmative action <br />to employ, advance in employment, and otherwise treat qualified Nandi - <br />capped individuals without discrimination, based upon their physical <br />or mental handicap in all employment practices. <br />-2- <br />N <br />
