CHAIRMAN WODTKE DISCUSSED PROHIBITING ANY ELECTRICAL HOOK-UP <br />WHILE SUCH VEHICLES ARE BEING STORED. <br />PLANNING DIRECTOR REDICK STATED THAT THEY FELT IT WOULD BE <br />UNREASONABLE TO SAY A PERSON COULD NOT WORK ON HIS RECREATIONAL VEHICLE <br />ON HIS OWN PROPERTY AND FELT THAT THE ORDINANCE SHOULD JUST SET OUT <br />THAT IT SHALL NOT BE USED FOR ANY RESIDENTIAL OR HOUSEKEEPING PURPOSES. <br />DISCUSSION FOLLOWED AS TO THE TIME LIMITATIONS AND DEFINITION <br />OF THE WORD 0STORAGE,`t AND CHAIRMAN WODTKE SUGGESTED THAT THE WORD <br />"PARKING" BE LEFT OUT OF THE ORDINANCE. <br />COMMISSIONER LOY ASKED WHAT MOST OF THE COMPLAINTS ABOUT <br />MISUSE OF THE PRESENT REGULATIONS HAVE PERTAINED TO. <br />PLANNING DIRECTOR REDICK WAS NOT SURE, BUT FELT THAT THE <br />REQUIREMENT THAT ANY STORED VEHICLE HAVE A'CURRENT LICENSE IS MOST <br />IMPORTANT, IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO DETERMINE WHETHER THEY ARE ABANDONED <br />VEHICLES. HE FELT THE MAIN PROBLEMS ARE IN THE RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE AGAIN EXPRESSED CONCERN ABOUT THE LIMITATION <br />OF THE SIZE OF SUCH VEHICLES, AND AFTER SOME DISCUSSION, IT WAS <br />DECIDED TO MAKE THE CUT OFF POINT 32 FEET. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />Loy, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY CONTINUED THE PUBLIC HEARING ON AN <br />AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE 71-3 IN REGARD TO THE RECREATIONAL VEHICLE <br />SECTION,UNTIL OCTOBER 4, 1978, AT 9:00 A.M. <br />THE HOUR OF 11:00 O'CLOCK A.M.
