INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 78-29 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE <br />71-3, SECTION 25 Q (2), STORAGE OF TRAILERS AND <br />CAMPERS, PROVIDING FOR DEFINITION OF RECREATIONAL. <br />VEHICLES, CONDITIONS FOR PARKING BOATS AND RECREATIONAL <br />VEHICLES, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE <br />BE <br />IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, That Indian River County <br />Ordinance 71-3, Section 25 Q (2) is hereby amended in toto <br />to read <br />as follows: <br />Section <br />25 Q (2) <br />A. <br />Definitions. <br />1) The definition of transient trailer, travel <br />camper is hereby expanded to include camping <br />trailers, truck campers, motor homes, travel <br />trailers and other recreational vehicle mobile <br />structures intended to provide temporary living <br />quarters for recreational uses; provided, however, <br />that van type vehicles with an overall length of <br />less than 19 feet and pickup trucks not exceeding <br />3/4 tons rated load shall not be considered as <br />recreational vehicles within the limits of this <br />definition. <br />2) A boat shall be defined as a vehicle designed for <br />operation as a watercraft propelled by oars, sails <br />or one or more inteinal combustion engines. A <br />boat shall not be considered as a recreational <br />vehicle even though it has facilities for temporary <br />living quarters. <br />B. <br />Storage of trailers, campers and boats: <br />Recreational vehicles and boats may be stored on <br />any lot provided that: <br />0 <br />1) In any Single -Family Residential District or on <br />any single-family or two-family lot in any Multi - <br />Family District: <br />nox 36 PAPE 3, <br />OCT 41978 <br />
