e <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THE CLERK NEEDS <br />AUTHORIZATION TO GIVE NOTICE TO ALL PROPERTY OWNERS WHO WILL BE AFFECTED <br />BY PROPOSED CHANGES IN ZONING ALONG S.R. SIO AND 5I2 AND ALSO ON OSLO <br />ROAD AND 43RD AVENUE. <br />4 COMMISSIONER LOY ASKED .IF ANY OF THESE ARE ADJACENT OWNERS, <br />AND ATTORNEY COLLINS STATED THAT THESE ARE ONLY THOSE WHO WOULD BE <br />DIRECTLY AFFECTED. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER LOY, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SCHMUCKER, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE CLERK TO GIVE NOTICE <br />TO ALL PROPERTY OWNERS WHO WILL BE AFFECTED BY PROPOSED CHANGES IN <br />ZONING ALONG S.R. SIO AND 5I2 AND ON OSLO ROAD AND 43RD AVENUE. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS DISCUSSED WITH THE BOARD THE COURT ORDER <br />IN REGARD TO MID -FLORIDA AND NOTED THAT THE BOARD MUST MAKE FINAL <br />FINDINGS OF FACT PRIOR TO DECEMBER IST. HE CONTINUED THAT HE ANTICIPATED <br />THAT THE COUNTY WILL BE ABLE TO REACH AN AGREEMENT ON THE PURCHASE, BUT <br />WE MUST ESTABLISH A DATE FOR ANOTHER PUBLIC HEARING ON THE RATE CASE <br />AND GET NOTICES OUT AND WITNESSES LINED UP SO WE CAN BE READY IN THE <br />EVENT IT IS NECESSARY. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS REPORTED THAT FRANK BURDICK, WHO HAS LEASED <br />COUNTY LAND FOR FARMING PURPOSES, HAS NOT COMPLETED EVERYTHING HE <br />WISHES TO DO ON THE PROPERTY AND WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND THE LEASE FOR <br />ANOTHER YEAR. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />LOY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE ATTORNEY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS <br />ON A ONE-YEAR LEASE FOR THE COUNTY PROPERTY PRESENTLY BEING LEASED BY <br />FRANK BURDICK. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS NEXT BROUGHT UP THE AMENDED AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE COUNTY AND THE HUMANE SOCIETY AND NOTED THAT THE ONLY CHANGE WAS TO <br />INCREASE THE BUDGET AMOUNT. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY.COMMISSIONER <br />LOY, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED THE AMENDED AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />HUMANE SOCIETY AND THE COUNTY AND AUTHORIZED THE SIGNATURE OF THE <br />CHAIRMAN. <br />AGREEMENT IS TO BE FORWARDED TO THE HUMANE SOCIETY AND WILL <br />BE MADE A PART OF THE MINUTES WHEN FULLY EXECUTED. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS DISCUSSED A LETTER RECEIVED FROM ATTORNEYS <br />REPRESENTING OSLO SQUARE ASSOCIATES AS FOLLOWS: <br />83 <br />PAGE <br />OCT 1 1978 <br />__ 1 <br />
