S. The Society shall provide facilities and personnel to <br />care for all animals delivered by the Impounding officer or <br />Sheriff Deputy of the county according to the customary procedure <br />of the Society. <br />9. The procedures to be followed in processing of animals <br />is as follows: <br />(a) The County is responsible for the processing of <br />animals captured by it and delivered to the premises <br />provided by the Society, which shall be initiated by <br />the preparation of an impounding record sheet, which <br />sheet shall include a description of 'the animz�J,,.the <br />owner's name, if known, the time and place same was <br />picked up, and its condition. Should it be injured, or <br />obviously ill, the Impounding Officer or Sheriff Deputy <br />should first take it immediately to a veterinarian. <br />(b) Those desiring a release of an animal captured by <br />the Impounding Officer or Sheriff Deputy of the County <br />and turned over to the custody of the Society shall <br />accomplish its release by identifying same at the facilities <br />provided by the Society, proceed to the Sheriff Deputy <br />of the County, pay all fines and fee, if any, secure a <br />written release from the Sheriff Department and deliver. <br />said release to the Society facilities for the release of <br />the subject animal. As a condition of the release, the <br />individual described as the owner of the animal being <br />released shall submit an affidavit obtained from the <br />Sheriff Department, which states that he or she is the <br />owner of the animal being relehsed and the affiant shall be <br />responsible should anyone subsequently claimownershipof <br />the animal. Further, the affidavit shall state that the <br />owner of an unlicensed animal agrees to license the animal <br />within five (5) days or forfeit a required dollar <br />deposit placed with the Sheriff Department. <br />3 <br />qax 37 ?A u- Z3 <br />
