The residents are in favor of this assessment since it will enable them to stay <br />in their homes. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bowden, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Davis, the Board unanimously approved the <br />design, permit and construct approximately 1,500 feet of <br />water main and appurtenances along Temple Drive; <br />approved funding in the amount of $65,200; authorized use <br />of capital funds to initiate this phase of the work with all <br />incurred costs to be assessed against the benefiting users <br />when an Assessment Program has been established in the <br />area; authorized the Chairman to execute a Work Directive <br />(No. 2001-136) to George E. French, Inc. in the amount of <br />$38,700; and approved allowing staff to commence the <br />normal procedures for instituting a Water Assessment <br />Project in the area and start a petition for water service in <br />anticipation of serving the region, all as recommended in <br />the memorandum of December 27, 2004. <br /> <br />WORK AUTHORIZATION DIRECTIVE IS ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br /> <br />12.A.
