PUBLIC HEARING - RESOLUTION 2003-148 - ADRIENNE <br />DISSIS - ABANDONMENT OF THE PORTION OF SHORT <br />STREET BETWEEN 134TH STREET AND THE FLORIDA <br />EAST COAST RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY (LEGISLATIVE) <br />PROOF OF PUBLICATION OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR HEARING IS ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />Planning Director Stan Boling reviewed his memorandum and displayed an aerial view of <br />the area (copy is on file). The Short Street right-of-way is a paper street. The plat was recorded <br />in the early 1900's but the right-of-way has never been developed. It is located north of the <br />Sebastian City limits and abuts the Florida East Coast (FEC) Railroad right-of-way. It will never <br />be used as a through street. He asked the Board's approval to abandon the right-of-way and <br />retain a drainage utility easement over the entire area. <br />NOVEMBER 18, 2003 21 <br />
