The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard <br />regarding this matter. There being none, the Chairman closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Neuberger, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 2003-148 for the closing, abandonment, vacation <br />and discontinuance of a portion of Short Street lying between <br />134th Street and the Florida East Coast Railroad right-of- <br />way, reserving an easement over the entire right-of-way, said <br />land lying in Indian River County, Florida. <br />9.A.2. PUBLIC HEARING - ST. PETER'S MISSIONARY BAPTIST <br />CHURCH - SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE APPROVAL FOR <br />EXPANSION OF A CHARTER SCHOOL - GRACE PINES <br />STORMWATER SYSTEM (OUASI-JUDICIAL) <br />PROOF OF PUBLICATION OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR HEARING IS ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />Planning Director Stan Boling reviewed his memorandum and displayed an aerial <br />view of the site. This request is for a multi-purpose building already approved and functioning <br />on the site. Due to its size (10,576 sq. ft.) and residential zoning, RM -10, special exception use <br />approval is required.
