Lauderdale, Florida 33304 <br />9 <br />DEGELATE AGREEMENT #FY79-6 <br />Dear Mr. Gillis: <br />The Board of County Commissioners at its meeting on January 10, 1979 <br />authorized the extension of our Letter of Agreement dated <br />November 20, 1978. <br />To -date the Community Development -Advisory Committee has approved <br />Cooperative efforts with your organization on 14 homes for <br />rehabilitation. The Committee and the Board have recommended two <br />more homes for substantial rehabilitation efforts. It is their <br />intention to bring those units fully up to code. <br />In accord with our letter of November 20, 1978•we respectfully <br />request that you continue to employ personnel for the purpose of <br />weatherization and rehabilitation of residences, along with work, <br />specifically assigned by the Director of Community Development. <br />The,job classifications and weekly salaries shall continue to be <br />as follows: <br />1. Resource Developer Weekly Salary $192.30 <br />.2. Carpenter Weekly Salary $192.30 <br />3. Weatherization Evaluator Weekly Salary $180.00 <br />4. 'Carpenter's Assistant Weekly Salary $156.25 <br />Our program is coordinated through your Resource Developer, <br />Noel Wheaton, and it could contribute substantially to the continuity <br />of the effort if he continues .to be employed in that position. We <br />suggest that Mr. Wheaton in his role of Supervisor continue to. <br />recommend the individuals for the other job functions preferably from <br />workers who had been previously employed by the FFC on these activities. <br />However, we are subject to Federal monitoring of the program and it <br />may be necessary to replace personnel who do not perform.. <br />JAN 10 1979 <br />
