IT WAS DECIDED TO <br />HOLD OFF ON THIS A LITTLE, AND THEN REQUEST ANOTHER STUDY LATER TO TRY <br />TO GET THE 45 MPH SPEED LIMIT. <br />CHAIRMAN.WODTKE INFORMED THE ADMINISTRATOR.THAT HE WOULD LIKE <br />TO HAVE A MEETING WITH .JOHN WILSON OF THE DOT IN REGARD.TO THE TRAFFIC <br />PROBLEMS IN VERO HIGHLANDS. <br />THE ADMINISTRATOR INFORMED HIM THAT MR. WILSON HAS INSTRUCTED <br />HIS CREWS TO DO SOME STRIPING AND CHANGING IN THE WALKWAY PATTERN AND <br />SIGNS IN VERO HIGHLANDS, AND THEN HE WILL COME BACK AND VISIT. THE <br />ADMINISTRATOR STATED THAT HE WILL INFORM THE CHAIRMAN WHEN MR. WILSON <br />COMES TO VISIT SO THEY CAN VISIT VERO HIGHLANDS TOGETHER. <br />COMMISSIONER DEESON NOTED THAT THE ROSELAND SHOPPING CENTER <br />IS DUE TO OPEN IN A FEW MONTHS, AND IT IS NOW EVEN MORE IMPORTANT FOR <br />THE TRAFFIC LIGHT, WHICH WAS APPROVED, TO BE INSTALLED AT THAT INTER- <br />SECTION. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER DEESON, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />Loy, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR OUT -OF -COUNTY TRAVEL <br />FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR ED REGAN TO ATTEND THE NATIONAL <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION MEETING IN DAYTONA BEACH FEBRUARY 21- <br />23, 1979. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT BROUGHT UP THE PROBLEM OF PLATTED ONE <br />ACRE LOTS BEING DIVIDED INTO 1/2 ACRE LOTS AND STATED THAT HE HAS BEEN <br />INFORMED THAT SUCH ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN IN THREE DIFFERENT SUBDIVISIONS - <br />SUBURBAN ACRES, HIDDEN ACRES, AND BOBBI JAY SUBDIVISION. <br />ADMINISTRATOR .JENNINGS DISCUSSED A SUBDIVISION WHERE SEVEN <br />OWNERS ARE BUILDING ON ONE ACRE LOTS, AND THE EIGHTH OWNER WANTS TO SPLIT <br />HIS LOT IN HALF. HE NOTED THAT HE HAS HAD COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS SITUATION. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT FELT THE BOARD MUST HAVE SOME CONTROL OVER <br />THIS AND SHOULD TAKE EMERGENCY ACTION TO REMEDY THE SITUATION. HE NOTED <br />THIS•COULD BE COVERED BY DEED RESTRICTIONS, BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT YOU <br />CAN T PUT DEED RESTRICTIONS ON PROPERTY THAT IS ALREADY SOLD.
