15.B.2. APPROVAL OFMINUTES REGULAR MEETING OFNOVEMBER 4.2008 <br />The Chairman asked if there were any corrections or additions to the Minutes of <br />the Regular Meeting of November 4, 2008. There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Solari, the Board unanimously approved the <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 4, 2008, as <br />written. <br />15. B. 3. PUBLICANNOUNCEMENT FOR RECYCLING DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON <br />Himanshu Mehta, Managing Director, Solid Waste Disposal District, informed the <br />Board that the informational holiday flyers he was distributing to the Commissioners were also <br />available in today's newspaper. <br />Commissioner O'Bryan extended kudos to Director Mehta for upgrading the <br />recycling program and for organizing public outreach efforts. <br />Commissioner Wheeler suggested that these types of public announcements should <br />be placed at the beginning of the Agenda, so more people would view them. <br />Director Mehta displayed the holiday recycling flyer and outlined the items which <br />could now be recycled, which included holiday paper, live Christmas trees, styrofoam packaging, <br />2 <br />December 16, 2008 <br />
