The Chairman opened the public hearing. There were no speakers and the Chairman <br />closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Vice Chairman Flescher, the Board unanimously approved <br />the second component, Resolution 2008-196, as amended, <br />to amend the Text of the Coastal Management Element and <br />the Future Land Use Element by Changing the Definition <br />of the Coastal High Hazard Area and by Depicting the <br />Coastal High Hazard Area on the Future Land Use Map of <br />the Comprehensive Plan, to the State of Florida Department <br />of Community Affairs. <br />1O.B. PUBLIC DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />1O.B.1. REQUEST TO SPEAK FROM FRANK ZORC REGARDING PIPER <br />CONTAMINATION AT THE AIRPORT <br />(Clerk's Note: Item 10.B.1. was heard following Item 11.B. and is placed here for <br />continuity.) <br />Frank Zorc, 1695 20th Avenue, summarized Piper Aircraft's violations and the <br />documented evidence regarding Piper contamination (copies on file) which he had filed with the <br />Florida Department of Environmental Protection Agency. <br />Commissioner O'Bryan felt this was an EPA issue. <br />26 <br />December 2, 2008 <br />
