EVITT WITH FUNDS NOT TO EXCEED <br />$2,000, AND APPROVED THE BUDGET AMENDMENT AS FOLLOWS: <br />ACCOUNT TITLE_ ACCOUNT N0, INCREASE DECREASE <br />IRC SCHOOL BOARD 01-6101-305.01 $2,000.00 <br />RESERVE FOR <br />CONTINGENCIES 01-9990-701.00 $2,000.00 <br />INTERGOVERNMENTAL COORDINATOR THOMAS NEXT INTRODUCED .JOYCE <br />SNELL OF THE SEBASTIAN VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE SQUAD. <br />.JOYCE SNELL CAME BEFORE THE BOARD AND STATED THAT SHE REQUESTED <br />FROM THE CITY COUNCIL IN SEBASTIAN $5,000 FOR THIS YEAR'S BUDGET AND <br />$5,000 FOR THE NEXT YEAR S BUDGET AND THEY APPROVED HER $10,000 REQUEST. <br />SHE CONTINUED THAT SHE IS NOW INTERESTED IN OBTAINING AN ADDITIONAL <br />$5,000 FROM THE COUNTY IN ORDER TO PURCHASE AN AMBULANCE THAT IS PRICED <br />AT $19,500. MRS. SNELL REPORTED THE PRICES.ARE SCHEDULED FOR AN INCREASE <br />IN .JUNE TO $22,500 AND BY NOVEMBER WILL BE $25,000 FOR THE AMBULANCE. <br />COMMISSIONER Loy COMMENTED THAT THE COUNTY WILL BE SPLITTING <br />WITH THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN TO BUY A 1979 AMBULANCE AT A $6,000 SAVINGS. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE ASKED IF THIS PURCHASE WOULD REPLACE AN <br />AMBULANCE THE SQUAD NOW HAS,AND PARS.
