(' <br />(b) Sufficient funds not budgeted or available. <br />j> <br />(c) An error in specifications sufficient to have caused <br />Confusion and misunderstanding among bidders. <br />(d) The item(s) on which bids were requested is (are) <br />not needed. <br />(e) Lack of adequate competition. <br />48) Notification to successful bidder - After a bid has <br />been awarded by -the Board of County Commissioners, the <br />Purchasing Agent will notify the successful bidder. <br />B <br />I <br />Notification of unsuccessful bidders - Bids are <br />.opened publicly and read aloud. At that time, <br />'bidders may take a tabulation of bids; therefore, <br />unsuccessful bidders will not be notified unless <br />a written request for notification is submitted <br />to the Purchasing Agent. <br />2b. Method: In order to comply with the policies of the Board <br />of County Commissioners, the following guidelines shall be <br />followed in the preparation and execution of bids for purchase <br />of $2,500.00 or more. <br />(1) . Exceptions to the admve are: <br />-(a) Supplies and services already on existing contracts. <br />(Florida state contracts) �- <br />(b} Sole source items.
