THOMAS AGREED. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT FELT THAT OTHER THAN THE PROJECT SUGGESTED <br />BY COMMISSIONER LYONS — REPLACING THE MARKERS OFF OF VERO ISLES — WE <br />SHOULD HOLD ON TO THE REST OF THE MONEY. <br />THE BOARD AGREED. <br />INTERGOVERNMENTAL COORDINATOR THOMAS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT <br />THE COUNTY OWNS LOT 23, GLEN ACRES SUBDIVISION. HE NOTED THAT THIS IS <br />A NICE LOT LOCATED BETWEEN TWO HOUSES; IT IS APPRAISED AT $5,000; AND <br />THE COUNTY HAS NO NEED FOR IT. <br />ON MOTION BY -COMMISSIONER LOY, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER DEESON, <br />THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL COORDINATOR T0, <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS ON LOT 23, GLEN ACRES SUBDIVISION, OWNED BY THE <br />COUNTY. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER DEESON, <br />THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED OUT—OF—COUNTY TRAVEL FOR INTERGOVERNMENTAL <br />COORDINATOR THOMAS TO ATTEND THE BEACH SEMINAR '79 SPONSORED BY THE <br />FLORIDA SHORE & BEACH PRESERVATION ASSOCIATION TO BE HELD APRIL 5-6, <br />1979, AT GAINESVILLE. <br />ADMINISTRATOR .JENNINGS DISCUSSED MODIFICATION OF AN AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE COUNTY AND FLORIDA EAST COAST RAILWAY IN REGARD TO THE <br />CROSSING AT HOBART ROAD. HE EXPLAINED THAT THE OLD CROSSING IS A 50' <br />RIGHT—OF—WAY, BUT IN CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW ROAD UNDER THE OFF SYSTEMS <br />PROGRAM, WHICH IS TO BE DONE UNDER FEDERAL AND STATE MONEY, A 100' RIGHT— <br />OF—WAY IS REQUIRED. THE NEW HOBART ROAD DESIGN IS NOT ON THE CENTER LINE <br />OF THE OLD CROSSING SO THE OLD CROSSING HAS TO BE REVISED. THE ADMIN— <br />ISTRATOR NOTED THAT WE ARE TRYING TO GET THIS PROJECT IN UNDER A DEADLINE, <br />AND MR. DUBOIS OF THE DOT IS COMING UP HERE TODAY WITH A RESOLUTION AND <br />THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS.
