She asked for an explanation of the modifications that will be <br />made to the access to the industrial park. <br />th <br /> Director Keating said that 98 Avenue will be realigned so it aligns south of SR-60. It <br />will make it easier for the residents to go east. There will be three accesses total, and only one they <br />will be sharing with the park. <br /> <br />John Williams <br />, 1535 Smugglers Cove, said it was obvious that the Board is trying to <br />come as close to contract zoning as is legal. He asked that the proposal be modified to specific <br />areas. <br /> <br />Mary Silva <br />, 915 Tulip Lane, pointed out some corrections and misconceptions that have <br />been made regarding labor. She wanted to help educate the Board in order to make an intelligent <br />decision. A lot of employers come to her seeking skilled and experienced local residents to fill <br />their positions. <br /> <br />Anthony Donadio, <br /> 1655 E. Rose Court, supported this request and felt that we need <br />flexibility not to lose businesses interested in coming into the county. <br /> <br />Gary Wheeler, <br /> 3302 63rd Terrace, said he has lived here 32 years, and he does not <br />support this request. He said we should not change our standards to justify economic <br />development. He believes we can draw businesses without extending our height limitations. <br /> <br />Bruce Barkett <br />, 756 Beachland Boulevard, said industrial development is important to <br />the community. This ordinance would apply to industrial parks west of I-95 or planned <br />developments of more than 100 acres in size.
