FRANCIS MANOR, GAVE <br />ASSURANCE ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF ST. FRANCIS THAT THE <br />FENCE WILL BE ERECTED. <br />THE BOARD DISCUSSED CHANGING THE REGULAR MEETING DATES FOR THE <br />MONTH OF JULY. <br />ON (MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />Loy, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ESTABLISHED THURSDAY, JULY 5, 1979, AND <br />WEDNESDAY, JULY 18, 1979, AS THE REGULAR MEETING DAYS FOR THE MONTH OF <br />JULY, 1979. <br />ATTORNEY EUGENE O'NEILL APPEARED BEFORE THE BOARD REPRESENTING <br />SUMMERPLACE ASSOCIATION IN REGARD TO LOWERING OF THE SPEED LIMIT AT <br />THE INTERSECTION OF AIA AND S.R. 510. HE NOTED THAT APPARENTLY THE DOT <br />ALREADY HAS APPROVED THE LOWERING OF THE SPEED LIMIT 1/4 MILE NORTH AND <br />SOUTH OF THIS INTERSECTION, AND HIS CLIENTS ARE REQUESTING THAT THE <br />BOARD APPROVE SUCH A SPEED REDUCTION AND AUTHORIZE THE STEPS NECESSARY TO <br />CARRY THROUGH. <br />ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR NELSON REPORTED THAT ON FEBRUARY 7TH, <br />THE BOARD INSTRUCTED THE ADMINISTRATOR TO WRITE THE DOT CONFIRMING THAT <br />THE BOARD APPROVED THE REDUCTION OF THE SPEED LIMIT AS DISCUSSED, AND <br />ON FEBRUARY 9TH THE ADMINISTRATOR WROTE THE DOT.CONVEYING THIS INFORMA- <br />TION. HE STATED THAT HE HIMSELF HAS WRITTEN THE DOT AGAIN AND, IN <br />ADDITION, WILL MAKE A TELEPHONE CALL TO SEE THAT THIS AREA IS POSTED <br />BY THE DOT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. <br />ATTORNEY O'NEILL STATED.THAT THE OTHER PROBLEM IS THAT THERE <br />ARE THREE OR FOUR VENDORS LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST AND SOUTHEAST CORNERS <br />OF THIS INTERSECTION ON'A REGULAR BASIS ON THE WEEKENDS. WITH CARS <br />PULLING OUT FROM THE INTERSECTION ON EACH SIDE AFTER VISITING THESE <br />VENDORS, IN ADDITION TO THE REGULAR BEACH TRAFFIC, IT CREATES NOT ONLY <br />A NUISANCE BUT A DANGER. MRS. HINDERT, OWNER OF THE PROPERTY ON THE <br />NORTHEAST*HAS FILED A LETTER OF PROTEST WITH THE ZONING DEPARTMENT, AND <br />14 <br />39 pxE 44271 <br />APR 8 1979 <br />
