Director Keating explained that an important aspect of the Community <br />Development Block Grant program was to make sure there were no conflicts of interest between <br />the Commissioners and the eight applicants. The Commissioners reviewed the names of the <br />applicants, and established that there were no conflicts of interest. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION, and the <br />Motion carried unanimously. The Board approved the list <br />of Hurricane Wilma CDBG-DRI (Community <br />Development Block Grant -Disaster Recovery Initiative) <br />applicants, and authorized staff to begin the bid process to <br />secure services from licensed contractors for needed <br />rehabilitation work, as recommended in the memorandum <br />of January 5, 2009. <br />12.B.
